The interplay of the elements intrigues me.  Balance plays an integral part in my work.  Contrasts in color, texture, and reflexion are used to add subtle discord to the pieces.  I like taking a material that everyone is very familiar with and in contact with everyday and reshaping and molding it into something new, something different, something unexpected.  I want the viewer to stop and recognize the media and then see the new view.
