Create a sampler using non-traditional quilting fabrics, those “other” fabrics you have always loved. Learn the special tricks to make each of these fabrics easy and fun to work with. Techniques are appropriate for machine and handwork.

1-2 days–Beginner to Advanced
(You must have basic sewing machine knowledge)
Take a break and come sew a Sew-Mad Bag. Use sewing machine decorative machine stitches to embellish fun random size patches. Then turn your new fabric into a handbag. Several styles available. No sewing experience necessary. This is total playtime.

6 hours–Intermediate to Advanced
Combine calico and wool to make a striking Log Cabin wall hanging or start a quilt using the stitch and flip technique.
